On silence

Silence is not the absence of sound, but the beginning of listening.
In places where silence becomes loud, you’ll hear the abundance of NOTHINGNESS speak and sing.

The secret of a mystery

A mystery remains a mystery – until we find the space for it within ourselves and learn to ask the heart for explanation.

Routine

A routine also has the potential to be a ‘route in’.

‘Magnetic’ Cycling

My experience and discovery with ‘magnetic’ running last week (s. Deutsche Texte) had its follow up on a ‘cross-island-cycling’ tour today.

Again, if I would only apply the ‘activity part’ (the ‘DOING’) when cycling, my body (since the accident) would respond immediately with an unbearable headache and I would have to stop the action immediately.
Therefore it’s not only for my research in the ‘somatic-feminine’ that I’m eager to explore and touch a new and ‘softer’ approach to ‘ACTING’ and actions. It’s also a barely physical interest that makes me look out for ways to make a shift from ACTING out of a sole intent ‘TO DO’ (or worse: out of a ‘HAVING TO DO’) into actions that spring from the riches of a simple joy of ‘BEING’.

So here’s my today’s ‘magnetic’ approach when cycling into the island’s ‘up- and-downhill-beauty’:

  1. First, I started with a full RELAX and ‘LETTING GO’ of any possible muscle tension (mind & body) while letting some of the physical muscles DO the work at the same time. Thus, even when cycling uphill, I let ACTION & SURRENDER find an equilibrium. And after each hill I immediately let go of the ‘DOING’ and instead RECEIVED a new wave of ‘BEING’ coming in.
There was so much ‘BEING’ coming in. Even ‘answers’ to questions from earlier today – or ‘higher thoughts’ – entered my mind from a place of ‘nowhere’: without ‘thinking’, just by ‘knowing’.
  2. Also at the start as well as during the trip, I emptied my head of any ‘schedule’ or ‘plan’ – and thus, of any possible subsequent judgement or urge to ‘report’. I made up no rational goals regarding a preferable speed, time limit or place I planned to force myself to. Instead, without such ‘assessable targets’ every experience I made on my way became a tender, soul-filling gift full of beauty, abundance and grace. Even the animals crossing my way seemed to actually be talking to me! … 😉 Gosh! That was when heaven must have kissed the earth. And I was in the midst of it! … 🙂

And so – once again – I entered ‘magic ground’ when ACTING from an alternative (a ‘somatic-feminine’) power-base – only by adding to the ‘DOING’ a ‘slice’ of SURRENDER towards ‘BEING’.

And hardly any headache at all. Whatsoever.

Thus, another miracle has found its way to fill my day.

And I’m deeply grateful!

Trusting loss, trusting love

We can trust loss and we can trust love – as long as we make sure our muscles remain relaxed.

(SLH/ RCIk – Jan 12th 2016)

Loud world

Loud world,
For once, calm down!

Calm down, I said.

Calm down – and hear the whisper of the voices you’ve been creating.
Hear the noise the radiation of your thoughts has been producing.
Hear the silence of magic power you’ve been distorting.

Hear!
And listen!
Listen again.

Cause HERE it is – the door you need to go through.

It’s magnetic power we’ve been talking about – not dynamic power.

And when, if not today, do you feel like daring change?

So, please – calm down.
Calm down and listen.

Contemporary Stories…

The stories of us Western Contemporaries are in most cases stories of dissociation – dissociation from what we really are as human beings and from what we are in relation to our integral part within nature.

And thus, funnily enough, we prefer to tell stories about ‘all which we are not’… we make up stories around our status, our grades, our diplomas, our cars, our houses, our pets, our daily achievements, our daily routines, our so called heroic deeds – and so on. And in the midst of all these stories about ‘all which we are not’ – we then go on creating best-selling TV-series and blockbuster films, ‘helping’ us to maintain our sleep in the bubble of the ‘which we are not’… And in that cycle, we are gradually losing our instinct and our capacity to smell, to taste, to sense, to know… we lose all it means to live as an integral part of nature … we lose what makes us feel home within ourselves… we lose our inner rooting, our sense to be…

Thus, we keep producing on and on ‘all which we are not’…

Wouldn’t it be worthwhile to break that cycle for a moment and to pause – and to maybe find a new angle and direction in the stories we are creating – minute by minute and day by day?…

I think it – oh yes! – it certainly would.

A prevalent terminological confusion

we say heart – we mean logic brain
we say love – we mean strategic thinking or manipulation

we say tenderness – we panic for not knowing what it means

we say sex – we close our brain – but our bodies haven’t got the language for a holy
unison – as the soft feminine has once banned its heart

we say stop – and we don’t dare to touch the magic threshold

because…
we feel save in the DOING – but we are lost when asked just TO BE.

(SLH/ RCB – July18th, 2015)

The feminine principle of creation

Genuine feminine perspective is at first ‘heart-centred’ not ‘head-lead’.

Thus, a woman giving birth to a child does naturally not tend to categorize and ‘manage’ her new born – but instead opens up a space for stillness, connection, love and grace.

That’s how genuine femininity blossoms and creates.

No management needed. No five-year-plan.

Just an open loving space for life to enter and evolve.

On a firm base.

Our root.

We call it trust.

(SLH/RCB – July 28th 2015)

The other perspective

Our mind – collectively spoken – expects life to evolve in a chronological order, whereas our heart truly knows the power of life in its magical, mysterious, magnetic order.

Imagine, my friend, how our world would look and feel like, if we all allowed to keep our attention and focus on our hearts and we’d let life evolve in its magic rather than in its logic!

Another feminine – not feminist! – perspective so to speak…

(SLH/ RCB – July 25th 2015)

To live and let die…

In order to evolve and change… it’s often not enough to ‘just let go’.
We need to ‘let die’… And yes, it might hurt… But the hurt is always worth the reward you’ll gain.

(SLH/ RCB – July 25th 2015)

The (somatic-) feminine element

The feminine element is not of chronological nature.

Rather, it is circular – or even spiral, depending on how many dimension of reality it embraces…

(SLH/ RCB – July 16th 2015)

To the end of my love

I bet nature does not know the word ‘crises’.

I was there today.
The waves were still singing, the air still dancing, the stones still listening in a kind of ‘old-fashion wise’ kind of way…

I assume ‘crises’, as we experience it, is a fully human invention and does not exist in nature’s ‘vocabulary’…

…And so were the waves today – in a glamorous pride – only playing, shouting and spouting, surrendering, dying, awakening, evolving, fighting, struggling, laughing and loving – crying and parting – reuniting…

A concert I would name it – not a conflict…
A concert – as full and rich as to the end of my love…

(SLH/Aeg – June 30th 2015)

What if..?

What if we started using language more as a creative rather than a barely descriptive tool?…

(SLH/RCB – 18.6.2015)

Taking on a somatic-feminine perspecitve

If we all took on a somatic-feminine perspective…

…we would stop perceiving the world in opposites; in ‘black or white’ and ‘either or’. Instead, we would see the opportunities in each ‘AND’ – connecting one thing or one person with another.

If we all took on a somatic-feminine perspective…
… we could see the gifts behind everything life is reflecting on us and we would ‘smell’ the abundance shining through whatever is meant to be given to us – we would finally be open and able to receive – which in return would make us able to give.

So who then – does not want a life in such abundance? And why then is the predominent way of thinking in our society still a masculine one – one of opposites and ‘either or’s’?

What if…? Nr4

What if life is not happening ‘to’ us – but ‘for’ us?!

(SLH/RCB – Mai 16th 2015)

From serving to surfing

In my experience ‘serving’ life and ‘surfing’ life are synonymous – despite the spelling difference! :):)

We are not it!

We are not the crises we might eventually go through. We are not it.
The crises might go through us – but we are not the crises. We are not it.

And this insight is the blessing of a crises.
It takes away all fears and brings out our light.

Sat Nam.

Threshold

Never did I have so little fear as to the vey threshold when it became most dangerous.

Love

Love is a ‘high-speed-energizer’!
What great source of power.

(SLH/RCB – Feb 13th 2015)

Peace

It’s not about negotiating PEACE. It’s about ACTING in PEACE… Anywhere, at any given time and circumstances.

PEACE is not an attitude. It’s an action and an exercise for any given moment, at any given second in your life.

PEACE requires discipline.

(SLH/RCB – Feb 11th 2015)

A small big difference

You ask me if I’m ‘motivated’? I tell you, I’m inspired!
And I wish you’d understand the difference.

Imagine

Imagine what the world would be like if we learnt that everyone on this planet matters – and we learnt to act in accordance to such awareness and knowing.

A school of dreams

If dreams begin in the same place where they become true… why then is ‘dreambuilding’ still not a subject in school?…

Enhancing joy

What if making the world a better place is not only our responsibility, but our joy – our blessing, our gift, our opportunity?… Yeah!

The big shit ballade

The good news about experiencing shit is:
You can always evolve beyond shit.
You just decide to stop the shit, stop behaving like shit, stop getting involved in shit.
And instead you shift your focus away from shit – to everything else other than shit.
And you’ll find how much love there is – on the other side of shit.
And abundance.
And peace.

And that’s now – I tell you – really great shit!

True talent by its nature inspires and is therefore ‘non-hierarchical’!

Do’s and Do Not‘s

‘Male/ logic brain qualities’…

… do not intrinsically generate love.
… do not intrinsically generate connection.
… do not intrinsically generate intimacy.
… do not intrinsically generate acceptance.
… do not intrinsically generate forgiveness.
… do not intrinsically generate stillness.
… do not intrinsically generate reception.
… do not intrinsically generate emotional understanding.
… do not intrinsically generate emotional security.
… do not intrinsically generate a space for all.
… do not intrinsically generate a sense for the indiv. being part of a greater whole.
… do not intrinsically generate a sense of self-esteem for each and every person.
… do not intrinsically generate a cosy world.
… do not intrinsically generate sheer beauty.
… do not intrinsically generate a field for mystic and magic.

‘Feminine-somatic qualitities’ have a history. And I do long to see such history in films, in written works, in texts, in the media as well. I want to see that the world is not only powered by war. Instead, I want to learn about qualities that have been covered up, suppressed or even been lost by war…
